Beverly A. Vavricka, MD
Dr. Vavricka takes pride in partnering with women and their families in making important health decisions and feels blessed to witness the miracle of new life. She enjoys all aspects of women's health from teen care to menopause. She has a special interest in adolescent care, minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery, and in helping women achieve their desired birth experience.
Dr. Vavricka grew up in nearby Chandler, Oklahoma. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Physiology at Oklahoma State University where she was named “Outstanding Physiology Senior” and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She subsequently received her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma and graduated With Distinction. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at the OU Health Sciences Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Following residency, Dr. Vavricka was an assistant professor at the OU Health Sciences Center while awaiting her husband’s completion of his general surgery residency. They then moved to Virginia Beach where her husband began his active duty service in the US Navy. Dr. Vavricka joined a prestigious private practice group where she remained throughout her time in Virginia Beach.
It was during their military service in Virginia Beach that the Vavricka family welcomed their two children now ages 6 and 4. While difficult to say goodbye to her patients, Dr. Vavricka and her husband decided to return home to Oklahoma following completion of his military service.
In her free time, Dr. Vavricka loves spending time with her husband and two young children. They love exploring children’s activities offered in Oklahoma City and taking family trips. Her other interests include reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends.
